I started out as a college baseball player, dreaming of the big leagues. But life threw me a curveball, and I had to pivot. What came next? Let’s just say I covered all the bases. I sold cell phones, learned how NOT to be a plumber, worked on the oil rigs, and installed commercial garage doors.
Every job taught me something valuable: hard work, resilience, and that I should probably stay far away from plumbing. Seriously, I almost caused a small indoor swimming pool situation… but we’ll save that for another time.

Then I found my way into the mortgage world. I thought I’d finally hit a home run. But after a few years at the bank, I realized something was wrong. Clients were being rushed through the process, treated like numbers—not people. They weren’t getting the advice they needed, and I knew because I’d been in that same position. That experience planted a seed. It gave me the vision for McMahon Mortgages—a place built on real relationships, where every client’s story matters.
