My Name is Dwayne Hamilton. I have recently started the adventure of becoming a Mortgage Associate in Nova Scotia. I currently reside in Truro Heights Nova Scotia. Approximately a 50 minute drive north of Halifax, where I live with my wife of 7 years and our 2 year old son. 

Having a young family has grounded me with the understanding of helping new first time home buyers as well as others looking to buy, refinance or renew their existing homes. I treat my clients as I would like to be treated.

I also work in the field of Corrections which has a soft spot for first responders. These people work in fields that work very hard to keep the communities they serve safe. That is why I offer First Responder rebates. It is my way of saying thanks for all that you do.

For the past 20 years, I’ve been self-employed as a skincare-focused esthetician, running a successful spa business built on trust, results, and long-standing relationships with my clients.

As a proud Portuguese-Canadian and small business owner, I understand the unique challenges that come with being self-employed, especially when it comes to qualifying for a mortgage. That’s what inspired me to become a licensed mortgage agent.
